Our founder and Designer Pulkita Arora Bajaj is a creative force to be reckoned with. After completing her engineering studies in India, she decided to pursue her passion for fashion. She worked as an edit intern with the lustrous Fashion Magazine, Grazia and the most read publication in the country Times of India, which gave her an insight into the fashion industry. She then went on to explore designing and luxury brand management and had an exchange with NABA, Milan during Milan Fashion Week, where she was able to witness the mechanism of the fashion industry and some of the most luxurious Italian brands.

This first hand experience of the global fashion industry was a huge pivot point for the designer. Her passion for fashion led her to start experimenting with her own designs, and over the years, she founded Studio22, a brand that is a reflection of her creativity and vision.

The designs of the label are a mix of modern and traditional, with a focus on creating pieces that are not only beautiful but also functional. We aim to bring the beauty of Indian embroideries out of traditional Indian wear and turn it into modern-day indo western ensembles, appealing to today's woman who want to look chic and stylish. Our silhouettes are perfect for every occasion from casual outings to formal events.

Our brand is also a celebration of Indian craftsmanship and heritage. We believe in supporting local indian artisans who are the faces behind the brand that make our pieces versatile & timeless.
